'DIRECTIONS' (Only 14 miles off the interstate) From interstate 81S or 81N; take route#77 south toward Charlotte, N.C. Follow until you see signs for #77 S & #74 W toward Mt Airy, N.C. Take the Mt Airy exit & turn right onto #89 toward MT Airy, N.C. Follow 7 miles. Turn left onto Riverside drive (by gas station) Follow Riverside dr. 7 miles (it turns into Ararat Hwy) You'll see a huge white house with a wrap around porch & a huge mountain behind it. That's the JEB Stuart B&B. Turn left onto The Hollow road & right into the driveway. (From Stuart, Va.) (30 minutes) Follow #8 South out of town. Turn right onto #103 toward Claudeville Turn right onto #104 (Ararat Hwy) toward the J.E.B. Stuart Birthplace (you'll see signs) Follow until you go through the town of Ararat, Va. Look to your right once you pass Smith Bros Trucking You'll see white house & mountains Turn right onto 'The Hollow Rd.' Turn right into driveway. (From Blue Ridge Parkway) (20 minutes) Go to Meadows Of Dan Turn down Squirrel Spur rd Follow down the mountain until it ends. Turn right onto #104 (Ararat hwy) Go 4 miles & through town of Ararat. Look to your right, once you pass Smith Bros Trucking You'll see white house, & mountains Turn right onto 'The Hollow Rd' Turn right into driveway |
