COME PICK FRESH BERRIES IN THE BLUE RIDGE MTNS. 

Fern Ridge Berry Farm is located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, nestled on the hillside with a spectacular view and just minutes from the Blue Ridge Music Center. We offer a variety of raspberries that should be available by late June through October. Come bring the family with a picnic lunch and pick your own berries direct from the farm to you. Blue Berries will be available next year. As we are an agri-tourism business we invite you to reserve our Fern Ridge Guest House and make this an experience your family will treasure. Please bring your own containers for pick your own or containers may be purchased. Pricing not available at this time.

 Fern Ridge offers a variety of berries bearing from July until a hard frost comes. The berries should be ripe around the 3rd week in June, depending on the weather.

 The red Carolines are now coming in. If you are interested in placing an order please call. They are packaged in 1/2 pint clamshell containers with lids. You can pick or we can pick the Carolines.These tasty large berries will be producing from August until hard frost.

 

Sweet Thorn less Blackberries- ARAPAHOE-NAVAHOE.
These berries are large in size, glossy, and very sweet in taste.
Excellent flavor.

Directions: From Galax , take 89 south then left on Pipers Gap Road. Take the first state road right {Coal Creek Road} and follow approximately 2 miles to first right {Peaks Mountain Road}. Follow exactly 2 miles and take Fern Ridge Lane then right at {sign for Grape Arbor Salon/Gift Shoppe and Fern Ridge Guest House at road.} Follow until you come out of the woods and turn right up the drive to Fern Ridge Berry Farm.
